Tamudo, que en las últimas nueve temporadas ha sido el único delantero de la Liga que ha promediado diez o más goles por campaña, nunca había presentado unos registros tan bajos a estas alturas del curso. Sólo tres goles y dos de ellos desde el punto de penalti.

Su peor registro en la máxima categoría se remonta a la campaña del debut en 1996-97 en la que sólo marcó dos goles en diez partidos, muchos de ellos como suplente. No obstante, desde que juega con regularidad en el primer equipo siempre ha alcanzado o superado la decena de tantos.

Esta temporada, Tamudo sólo ha marcado al Madrid, Osasuna y Numancia. El de Santa Coloma no marca en Liga desde el pasado 16 de noviembre, hace más de cuatro meses, aunque ha estado ocho semanas de baja por una lesión muscular.
