It is reported that Espanyol striker Raul Tamudo is a Blackburn Rovers target.

Radio Cadena SER claims Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is keen to lure the Espanyol legend to the Premier League.

The 32-year-old has recently been in involved in a contract dispute with the Spanish club and may well be open to a move to England.

Allardyce has a history of bringing the best out of veteran stars from the continent so it may be a tempting move for the Spaniard.

He enjoyed success with Spanish players of similar profile like Ivan Campo and Fernando Hierro and he appears convinced he can do the same with Tamudo.
