The striker was reported to have been keen to leave in the winter transfer window as his contract is set to run out at the end of the current campaign.
With Espanyol's director for sport German de la Cruz and sporting director Ramon Planes making claims that the player wanted to go and refused the option to become captain again in the summer, Tamudo showed his ire on Thursday.
"I am very, very angry about what happened yesterday," he was quoted as saying by El Mundo Deportivo.
"I do not deserve to be treated the way that I have been lately and I do not understand why this is happening.
"What I have made very clear is that I do not want to force my way out of Espanyol because I want to stay.
"If they offered me a new deal right now I would sign it. All I want is to finish my career here."
Tamudo was replaced as club captain by Daniel Jarque at the end of last season when it appeared he might leave, but he has insisted that he was not offered the captain's armband again when the defender tragically passed away in August.
"It is a mean thing to use the argument about the captain's armband to turn people against me," he continued.
"It is a lie that after Jarque's death they offered me the armband again because if they had then it would be on my left arm at this very moment.
"I am hoping that they will publicly apologise for all the lies that were said yesterday.
"The only thing I want is to play and to play here."
